Inter Milan have not ruled out Jose Mourinho's return to the Giuseppe Meazza in the future.

Real boss does not know if he will still be at the Bernabeu next season

Inter Milan have not ruled out Jose Mourinho's return to the Giuseppe Meazza in the future. The Real Madrid boss is under pressure ahead of the attempt to overturn an aggregate deficit in their Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg against Barcelona. Mourinho's future has been questioned amid reports he is beginning to lose the faith of the Bernabeu dressing room after almost two years in charge. The former Inter boss is himself happy at Real, but, in the build-up to facing Barcelona, he has confessed he could become a victim of the club's managerial merry-go-round. He is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail: "I don't know if I'll be at Real Madrid next season."

Situation

Mourinho has consequently been linked with a return to Inter, where he won a historic Treble in 2010, including the UEFA Champions League, before making an emotional exit to take over at Real. Claudio Ranieri is currently in charge at the Serie A club, who on Wednesday also pulled out of the bid to sign Carlos Tevez, but the Mourinho link remains. Inter board member Marco Tronchetti Provera said of a potential return: "For each Inter fan, Mourinho is bounded to many emotions, so, why not in the future? "We are happy, anyway, with the current situation. We feel good with Ranieri" Real are reported to want either Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who has for many years been linked with a switch to Spain, or Germany coach Joachim Low as a possible replacement for Mourinho.
