New reports claim that Chelsea forward Didier Drogba is intent on finding "more fun" and that he has his eye set on staying at Stamford Bridge until at least June.

Speaking to France Football, Drogba responded to being asked if he wanted to leave Chelsea, saying:

Not before next June. I'd like to find more fun, chills, fervor, passion and pressure on the field. Everything that makes the salt of my profession.

It is thought that talks between Chelsea and Drogba are at a stalemate because Drogba is seeking a two-year contract extension, while Chelsea, conscious of the player's age, only offered to extend his contract—which expires at the end of June—by one year.

This offer was reportedly rejected, however Chelsea manager Andre Villas Boas is keen to keep the Ivory Coast striker:

I count on Didier, on what he represents as a player and an icon, and I will rely upon him still [when he returns from the tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea next month].

There are also claims that Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua are interested in adding Drogba to their current strike force which includes Drogba's former Chelsea teammate Nicolas Anelka.

Shanghai Shenhua board member Zhou Jun recently spoke to the media about a possible move:

Everything is going well so far, though there have been a few obstacles.
