Does he have a score to settle? Every time Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey gets a goal... someone famous dies

Gaddafi, bin Laden, Jobs, Houston.

At first glance, the only obvious connection between the two military mad men, Apple's founder and a legendary singer is that they have all passed away.

But throw in the name Aaron Ramsey and suddenly we have a mystery... because each one of the four mentioned above died almost immediately after the Arsenal midfielder scored.

Soul diva Whitney Houston was the fourth in under a year.

Just hours after 21-year-old Ramsey netted a goal in a Premier League match against Sunderland last Saturday, the 48-year-old singer was found dead in a bathroom at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The bizarre coincidences kicked off last May when the young player scored against Manchester United at the Emirates stadium in the second half.

RAMSEY'S F-WORD
(THAT'S 'F' FOR FOOTBALL)

Welsh footballer Aaron Ramsey was signed to Arsenal from Cardiff in the summer of 2008.

In his first season, he dominated in a Champions League game at Olympiacos and scored his first goals in the Premier League and at international level.

His career was hampered by a sickening injury against Stoke in February 2010, where he suffered a double fracture in his right leg.

After recovering, he signed a long-term contract with Arsenal and showed he was back to his best with the winner against Manchester United last term.

He was briefly loaned to Nottingham Forest (in Nov 2010) and Cardiff (in Jan 2011).

He is also captain of the Wales team.

One day later, on May 2, Al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden, 54, was shot dead by U.S. Navy Seals in his compound in Pakistan.

Then, on October 2, Ramsey netted one against Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Three days later, Apple guru Steve Jobs died aged 56 at his home in California following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

Soon after, on October 19, Ramsey scored a dramatic injury-time goal against Marseille during a Champions League game.

The very next day, Colonel Gaddafi, 69, was captured by rebels near his home town of Sirte and died from his injuries.

One fan wrote on a forum: 'I'm worried things will get out of control when he scores more.'

While another wrote on Facebook: 'Saving an Aaron Ramsey shot is like saving someone's life.'

Arsenal are due to play AC Milan this evening but the final team line-up has yet to be announced. But if Ramsey's playing, watch out.
