As if this is getting anymore hate than what other bad movies that were based on something that has a nostalgic fan base got, like the Transformers movies, the new Ninja Turtles movie, The Dukes of Hazzard movie or the live action Scooby Doo movies. Maybe, just maybe, people are hating on it because it looks like sh*t and has nothing to do with the fact that the main characters are females.

This woman, Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence are really awful.

I wasn't fond of that trailer myself. The originals are still good to this day. What she said was really childish.

The sad part about this is that an all girls-team could have worked very well if done right. If they featured Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts as Ghostbusters with maybe two (or three) new ladies being trained by Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, people would have been all for that because they had major roles in the previous films. Then have a foe so dangerous and powerful that everybody would have to get involved to defeat it.

They are gonna try to hide behind misogyny for the crap storm that will ensue after the films release. You watch. Well...wait DON'T watch. :)

I like melissa mcarthy but this movie looks more like a spoof of ghosterbusters than a rebot. The last trailer looks alot better but this was a obvious cash grab on the name alone.

Yep, they're all films where you're not allowed to watch the superior original anymore because a shitty remake has been made... oh wait.
If the new Ghostbusters film turns out to be garbage then so what? It wouldn't be the first.
And if you're worried about it casting a shadow over the franchise, then don't. The second movie did that nearly 30 years ago.

She should be cast as the next Bebop if they ever reboot TMNT to an all girl cast. Would save the company cash considering she would need minimal makeup done 👌

antagonizing the Internets is not a good thing. The movie IS made for geeks and people that want to relieve their childhood and for the new comers, there is something to be said about four bros, bumbling their way to save NYC from a ghost-apocalypse. Doesn't ring true when its 4 women, no matter how angry Leslie Jones gets.

In fact it would have helped if the original cast was there to sort-of hand over the baton, but we all know thats not possible. Anyway good luck with this movie. You're going to need it.
