The PlayStation 4 Pro will not have a UHD Blu Ray drive, while Microsoft have included one in the Xbox One S (and will presumably include one in the upcoming Xbox Scorpio, too). This actually comes as a bit of a surprise, given Sony's media background, and their propensity to push the latest media format with their consoles whenever they get the chance (CDs with PlayStation, DVD with PS2, and Blu Rays with PS3).

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.
I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.
Depends on if you prefer physical media vs streaming. Audio/Videophiles who have state of the art equipment most definitely will care. I mean sure, streaming 4K looks "good enough", but it's still not the same as watching native content with the appropriate bitrates.
Besides, file sizes only get larger with higher resolution digital files. And sadly not everyone has infinite bandwith to work with.
Am more than happy with dvds and blurays still and don't want to switch to another movie format already.

If people are going digital with games, movies will go the same route
They didn't care for BluRay last generation so doubt they'll suddenly care for the new format this generation. The mainstream consumers will be complacent with it just playing movies even if it's the basic format.
