Nice! My tears are ready! ;_;

RpgSama2697d ago

My reaction to the 9.0 : "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! ". YES, YES, YES, YES!!!.

Reviews for this Game don't matter to me, was going to get it either way, I knew what to expect having played both Team Ico games on PS2, but it's SO nice for this game to get a good review, the developers deserve it after all these years working on it.

bouzebbal2697d ago

Nothing against you but "gamers" waiting for review scores to decide themselve is so pathetic.
If you played the previous ones then it's easy to assume that this smells masterpiece miles away, just through the gameplay videos we have been given.
This might be the game of the generation to me. I don't care about multiplayer i don't care about DLC, all i want is not to lose grip of the controller and TLG is the kind of game that gives me the feeling.
On PS3 it was Heavy Rain.

UltraNova2697d ago

Cant frickin wait to get my hands on the game. Sorry FF 15 you are going back in the case for sometime.

RpgSama2697d ago

@Bouzebbal

Yeah, like I told you, I was getting it either way, I knew what to expect from this game.

But it sure is nice to see great critical response, not for me, but for the general audience that never played a Team Ico game and that now based on reviews might give it a chance, instead of laughing at a 6,5/7 that has been 10 years in the making.

ShottyatLaw2697d ago

@bouzebbal

"Gamers" who have been subjected to broken releases time and time again are not pathetic for waiting for reviews.

Ive been excited for TLG, and it has looked like it was going to be special for awhile, but I will continue to wait for reviews for any game. The scores aren't so much of an issue. It's the buggy and over hyped mediocrity that we get all too often that has made me skeptical of all releases.

Sounds like TLG delivered in spades, and I too am excited to see these high scores.

FITgamer2697d ago

Gamespot giving any a game 9 is rare. They must have really enjoyed it.

thekhurg2697d ago

@bouzebbal

There is nothing wrong with waiting for scores. Especially on a game in development hell as long as this one.

Great score! Too many amazing games to play but TLG is truly something unique and stands out from the pack.

Man, this game came out at the worst time, too close to FFXV. And FFXV is disappointing so far. But if it wasn't for Final Fantasy XV this would of been day 1 for me, but now I spent my money on FFXV, didn't pre-order The Last Guardian and probably won't play it till well after I beat FFXV. It's so frustrating but I can't just turn to The Last Guardian like that in the middle of playing FFXV. Seriously I have to question to release day, I mean I've been without a major game to play for most of the year and then this happens.

Worst part of it all is that FFXV seems to be a huge letdown, I should of got The Last Guardian instead but how was I suppose to know? FFXV came out first and I've been looking forward to it for years. Actually I've been looking forward to both of these games for years, two of my most wanted games that would both be pre-ordered and day 1, and then they basically come out on top of each other. WTF

ninsigma2697d ago

That's why I'm really pushing my patience to the limit and waiting until after tlg to play ff15. Gonna kill me!

Lightning Mr Bubbles2697d ago (Edited 2697d ago )

@ninsigma

Yeah, I should of gone with The Last Guardian. I mean I should of known, Sony's been killing it lately while Square Enix has been disappointing for a while. Should of seen it coming.

MRMagoo1232697d ago (Edited 2697d ago )

I would just trade in ff15 like I did it's such a disappointment. then use that money on the last guardian.

@ninsigma

I would suggest getting ff15 out of the way so you can enjoy the better game in the last guardian.

I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.

banger88135d ago

That's amazing, Gamingbolt actually put all 15 games on the same page.

shinoff2183134d ago

I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.

persona4chie133d ago

There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.

The Last Guardian Is One of Gaming’s Most Beautiful Depictions of Friendship

Friendship is hard to depict accurately, but The Last Guardian does a good job of showing all its ups and downs through Trico and the boy.

Technical issues aside, this is easily one of my favorite games from last gen.

ClayRules2012818d ago (Edited 818d ago )

I couldn’t agree more. I’ll never forget the emotional experience I had with this game. After waiting all those years, and than to finally play it. It was a visual beauty, along with offering a story/friendship between the 2 characters that was unique and unforgettable. Far surpassed my expectations. A masterpiece!

Technical issues aside, never have I played anything quite like it!

Magog819d ago

I enjoyed the game but it started out too simple and easy. If the entire game was as intense and challenging as the last 20% it would have been a 10/10 experience.

EvertonFC818d ago

Great game, so underrated. One of my favourites and top 20 games of all time

Phoenix76818d ago

I managed to grab the collectors edition for £40 about a year after it released. Was an enjoyable game, but I had just finished Shadow of the colossus, and whilst I enjoyed it, it was not as good when compared.
