9/10 from GameSpot? I'll admit as a huge fan of SoTC, I still felt the troubled development of this game would lead to it getting 6s and 7s. This is pleasantly surprising.

I knew this game was going to be great, I knew I'd love it, I wasn't sure many reviewers would "get it" though. SotC was a bit of a niche game, and had it's share of issues, but it was a special game because it did something unique and was greater than the sum of it's parts. I'm glad it's being received well though, it's important for these types of games to exist in an industry saturated with shooters (nothing against them).

I am not impressed because I know this game is a master piece. I am more impressed with the fact that GameSpot gave a 9.

Oh. And let's not forget that ICO and Shadow didn't received good scores and yet they became masterpieces and cult classics.

Pleasantly surprised that this stood the test of time and is releasing to acclaim. The vast majority has been 8 and up for this. So I'm happy that both FF15 and TLG all we out well after sooo many years in Vaporware hell.

Great time to be a gamer to enjoy both These Epics deserves to be played and enjoyed. Congrats to both Square and Sony on finally releasing both these games 2016 is a marvel year in gaming.

All the credible sources (the ones I've seen) are giving it high praise. IGN is a joke, I only go there to read comments. Lol.

Wait for this 1 to hit the bargain bin. No single player game is worth the $59.99 price unless it's a a Rpg with the content to warrant that price tag. At $24.99 this would be a day 1 buy for me

was expecting fail tbh, but the positive reviews like this one, really made me want to play this game asap.

Great score but my backlog is so real, it's never been this bad, quality games coming every month + my last year at uni = 5 to 10 games i cant touch

How long is the game?

Gamespot a 9 and IGN a 7, probably is not for everyone. I love ico and shadow, so probably I'll pick this up... for cheap.

So far the game has been getting good reviews. Kinda sad that it seems some people would only regard this game, and games like it, as a "rent only." I'm guessing mainly because it's "just" a single player game and doesn't come with any multiplayer component. I understand that games can be expensive, which I don't think they are cause they've been $60 for years now, but If you base your purchases strictly on replay value your missing out on a lot of great games.

green_gangstaZX2, too bad xboxone dont have any exclusives for you to play instead of being envious about yet another game that you and the pc port begging race will never have . You should be spamming xbox site asking them why they dont invest in any 1st party studios and real exclusives.

It really sounds interesting and I'm liking what I'm hearing about Trico. Like it's been said it can try your patience but at the same time it adds to the immersion because it's a wild animal/creature and I like that it gets distracted or investigates things. The developing of the bond is going to be amazing. I can't wait till tomorrow to play this!

I've been waiting for this game since I was in my late teens. No review is ever going to diminish my anticipation for The Last Guardian.

That being said, a bloody NINE OUT OF TEN from GameSpot is phenomenal.

They're a pretty tough crowd, so seeing this is exciting.

We need to get rid of numbered scores and follow Kotaku and other gaming sites that doesnt give scores that give solid written articles. It forces the viewer to read and go into details about the game.

It seems like they had a bunch of names in a hat, chose a few, and called them underrated. I don't get it.

Both of those Infamous games are definitely fun, just too short.

In 10 years, you'll probably call God of War Ragnarok underrated because it wasn't discussed 24/7.

Beautiful game, i hate how misunderstood the AI was. People were wanting Trico to respond like a damn car, but i feel like anyone who's had to bond and train with an amimal/pet understood what the game was doing. The more time passes, and the better you treat trico, the more it listens to commands, but at the end of the day it's still a separate being and not a robot.
