Me too. If there was ever a studio that could get Spider Man right it def. has to be Sucker Punch. This could be a hidden gem.

Actually Insomniac is making Spider-Man and they're just as talented as Sucker Punch imo. I think Sony should have bought insomniac when they made R&C and Resistance

You know what? Zelda doesn't do it for me. I tried 3 different Zelda games over the years and I just couldn't get into any of them at all. ^agreed Bloop. The last Zelda I played was Ocarina of Time. Many call that the best Zelda ever. I was bored before long, but forced myself to play on for a while, wondering what I was missing that everyone else thought was so great.

Wouldn't do for us all to be the same. I'm happy for those that love it. It has charming moments for me, but I couldn't be bothered with any others after that, sadly.

I dunno why you, ironcrow, would let TLOU pt2 and associated scowling Ellies bother you. I can dig your position as im sure we all have THAT perfect game everyone loves that we just dont get. For me its the Portal games-im not a great puzzle gamer and, somehow, also found the games, barring one or two late puzzles, pretty simple. To make it worse the missus loves them both and often has them on even today.

Its weird to be in the teeny minority but it does give you the chance to maybe, appreciate the quality, the craft of something even if its not for you.I might not see why Portal is the bestest thing evaar but can definitely see that its an amazing product built with passion etc. Like knowing a song can be a good example of its genre even if the genre isnt for you. Theres quality, love and passion in there even if its not your bag.

That being the case, surely you can just avoid Ellie or something? Its gonna be around a lot so Id learn to deal with her, mate!

Did you even listen to the ND lou2 team podcast?? No, you didnt.. Niel said they wanted to unveil The last of us2 during E3 2018 but for the love of the PS Fans they gave us an awesome trailer during PSX 2016.. E3 2016 was enough to showcase what Sony had planned and The last of us 2 wasn't ready,.. Everything has a time... Sony dont milk their franchise and place its software with a lot of plan...No wonder PS4 IS THE BEST SELLING CONSOLE ..

I was so excited to play TLOU when it came out on PS4. But then I played it and it was a major let down. Characters weren't interesting. Gameplay so dull it actually put me to sleep more than once. I had to force myself to play through it because everyone kept telling me it gets better. It did get a little better, but at no point did it live up to it's hype for me.

I think overrated has a meaning regarding reviews not the majority of gamers. It's different.
I don't believe in reviews anyway but I did love the game. I loved it on the emotional level and even on PS3 ND managed to make believe the characters are alive and have a personality of their own. I loved the gameplay too

That's fine, I know ppl that didn't like it or just didn't think it was as good as advertised. It's definitely an emotional experience for me, as most of my memories of the game are those emotional scenes throughout the experience. Not so much the gameplay, although I found it good but nothing special. It's definitely the best game I've played in terms of storytelling and forcing the player to react emotionally.

The game is beautifully done not that you have to agree with but its one of those Exclusive title which is special.. Not saying its The best but its one of The best... I know that the supposed leaked Sony Press Conference schedule was already debunked, but the part that stood out the most to me, and this was honestly the craziest, was the announcement of Resistance 4. It seems crazy and super unlikely, but if it does happen, I honestly think that will be the highlight of E3 for me. Resistance 3 was extremely subpar in my opinion, but 1 & 2 still hold the title of being two of the best MP games ever in my opinion. A 4th installment that could potentially go back to the franchise's roots, and run on PS4 hardware, would be incredible. I'm really excited and hoping that is at least true.

You think they'd announce FF16 already? lol I'd be pumped but I highly doubt it will happen. I can see the rest happening except for the Horizon DLC announcement, I think that's more of a PSX announcement, and it likely won't come out till 2018. All I want to see is...

1. Spider-Man gameplay and release window
2. GoW gameplay and release window
3. Destiny 2 gameplay and release date
4. RDR2 gameplay and release date
5. Days Gone gameplay and release window
6. Sucker Punch new IP
7. Ni No Kuni II info blowout and release date
8. FFVII trailer and release date
9. Japan Studio new IP
10. Another Death Stranding trailer

TLOUP2 I'm obviously hopeful for but I highly doubt it makes an appearance, but boy would the internet shut down if they revealed gameplay...

Ff15 was in fact versus13 they started 10 years ago . They just released it doesn't mean they haven't started something else. They ported the ps3 game to ps4 for the past 2 years or so. Remember they announced ff14 I believe the same year as ff13 was out.

FF16 likely wouldn't get an announcement. Square will still be promoting FF15 DLC when E3 comes. At best, we'd see that at PSX, but think all FF games get announced at E3, so we wouldn't see it until next year. On top of that, SE will likely be promoting FF7 before FF16. Plus, they'll be pushing Kingdom Hearts 3, which likely is closer to release than any new FF game.

I highly doubt FFXVI so soon... Their teams are still working on FFXV, FFVIIR, KH3, and DQ11. That's pretty much all of their teams working on something. We won't see FFXVI until PS5-gen.

Also, TLoU2 gameplay seems like an obvious one. TLoU was originally announced at the 2011 VGA's (December, just like TLoU2 at PSX), and gameplay was officially unveiled at E3 2012. I'll beat that Sony is going to show it off at the very end of their show.

That depends on how far in development it is. At PSX Shawn Layden specifically said it's in early development, I don't think he wanted ppl getting their hopes up that it'll come anytime soon. Also during the PSX panel for TLOU2, Neil said there was a discussion about whether they should announce the game at PSX or E3, considering they chose PSX, id imagine they don't have anything to show at e3. I'd be completely caught off guard if they reveal gameplay lol, and I'd totally expect a 2018 release window.

Hard to say. I think ND was reluctant to even tease it when Sony wanted to, and if it's not very far in development, then they may hold off on it. Maybe a better trailer, instead of just the teaser, but a game play demo is suspect.

I think Sony will have enough to show without it, and if they can pull off a good show without TLOU2, then that just gives them more in reserve for later for when Sony wants people to talk about them instead of the competition....likely nearer the Scorpios release.

I think it was the other way around, like Sony was reluctant to show it at PSX, but ND wanted to. Ever since UC4 was a massive success, and ND clarifying that its the last Uncharted, everyone has been wondering what else they're working on, so they finally wanted to put it out on the table.

I remember reading something about it, but couldn't remember what exactly it was. I don't think it was an official statement either, so more insider info stuff. I can't find the article or post about it now though.

Either way, I do believe it wasn't far along in development, so not sure where it will be at by now. Right about now is when they'd be getting an E3 demo ready.

The Last of Us Part II is most likely not coming out this year. It will most likely be a late 2018 or early 2019 game, but the Uncharted dlc still needs to come out and Naughty Dog has released a game every two years since Uncharted 1. Uncharted 4 came out in 2016, 2 years from then would be 2018. Plus Playstation and Naughty Dog stressed that its early in development, meaning its probably been in production for 2 years and is now in the last two year stretch of development where they put all of their gameplay ideas together for a demo or an in-game cutscene trailer. The trailer we saw won't be in the game, it was only a thematic trailer made in-engine.

I think this year has the potential to breed a lot of games getting gameplay trailers. They announced so much last year that ppl are going to want to see gameplay for. Another for GoW, also Spider-Man and Days Gone should both have gameplay trailers. Then there's Destiny 2, RDR2, and the new CoD. I think this year might be weaker in terms of reveals, but even games like SP new IP, Bloodborne 2, and Japan Studios new IP could send shockwaves through the gaming community.

I want either a new KILLZONE , RESISTANCE or a new FPS IP that is a single player campaign focused SONY exclusive . We have not had one in over 3 years coming from SONY .

Maybe have INSOMNIAC do a reboot of DISRUPTOR which was INSOMNIAC's first exclusive for SONY back in 1996 for the PS1.

Can't think of many old PlayStation franchises they could bring back as they've covered most of them.
Some new IPs never go a miss either specially when they are as good as Horizon.

My prediction for sony conference:
opening Uncharted Lost Legacy gameplay & release date, followed by God Of War trailer & release date, then some new multiplatform games & exclusive deals, then PSVR new titles,then Days Gone gameplay & release date, then Gran Turismo Sport trailer & release date, then upcoming Indie titles, then Detroit gameplay & release date, then new IP from From Software Bloodborne2? then unnanauced new IP & at last Spiderman gameplay & trailer. END, i don't think that we'll see Last Of Us & Death Stranding because they are very early in development and they been shown last E3.

Yes! From Software stated a while ago they were working on several games & 1 or 2 of them are exclusive to the PS4.Bloodborne was a decent hit so fans are hoping it's Bloodborne 2,it's just a rumor hopefully that's true!

Really looking forward to this year's E3. Microsoft is trying to battle back and should finally have a real Scorpio reveal. Sony will want to answer that with some great exclusives. And I think devs are realizing the high bar that games like HZD and Zelda among others have set with top AAA titles, and will want to avoid the mistakes some recent flops have made. Plus hoping for some more details on some big upcoming titles like Cyberpunk and Detroit. And there are always surprises. E3 is always good, but on paper this one should be better than usual.

PS4 exclusives, that are already known to exist, that already have me tossing and turning at night in restless anticipation:
1.) GOD OF WAR !!! - ( Mankind has yet to create the words needed to sufficiently express my hype.
2.) TLOU 2 - Do I even need to explain?
3.) Day's Gone - Sony Bend's first time up to bat on the PS4, and the gameplay reveal trailer, along with the story trailer revealed that the wait for the unveiling of their project looks to have been worth the wait.
4.) Death Stranding - Kojima's one of a kind mind, coupled with the artistic freedom that working with Sony will afford him.... you get the point.
5.) Detroit: Become Human - I need a little of David Cage's artistry in my life this gen.

Anything that's announced at E3 by Sony, that's in addition to what I've listed above, can only serve to further deprive me of sleep.

I can't edit my previous comment, but somehow I've managed to have some incredibly glaring omissions.

6.)Spider-man - Insomniac + Spider-man license = Match made in heaven.
7.) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - I'm eagerly awaiting what looks to be Naughty Dog's swan song within the Uncharted universe. Possibly bringing one of gaming's most iconic franchises, and arguably the best new IP of last generation to a close. Mixed emotions on this one.

1- tomba and/or medievil revival
2- 2nd collaboration with activision that will bring the original spyro trilogy remastered on ps4
3- god of war, days gone,detroit, knack 2 and spiderman release dates/release windows
4- sucker punch new game reveal
5- the order 1887 (aka the order 2) reveal

Only games im interested in are bloodborne 2 and god of war. Dont care about naughty dogs games since i find them repetitive and dull. Wont get my hopes up about death stranding since silent hills was supposed to be the perfect horror game. Deltoro and freakin junji ito for gods sake...if death stranding isnt that then i couldnt care less.
