On Approving

Lately I've been noticing a trend here on 11x2, which is identical reports. I know we have a lot of new users participating with the management of this site, so allow me to break some things down for you.

Reports on the Hava sites work this way - first come, first serve. So if I'm the first person to say X story needs this tag, or a submission is incorrectly labeled, that's it. There is no need for other users to parrot this report - verbatim in fact. This is what the agree / disagree function is for - something not to be overlooked. Seriously.

Second, if you are reporting a story, you cannot simultaneously report it at the same time. It is one or the other. Remember approving something means its worthy of the front page. If you are reporting something at the same time, you are contradicting yourself.

Lastly, on the diligence of reports, lets use our heads here. If you are only reporting becasue other users are reporting, that's poor form. Case in point, a certain site whose articles are literally treasure trove to report, continue to be approved, unscathed. Reading one sentence from any of these submission is an automatic red flag that this content does not belong here. Yet becasue another article is missing a single tag, its being ripped to pieces report wise. Use some common sense in this regard...

The story is too old to be commented.

'Second, if you are reporting a story, you cannot simultaneously report it at the same time.'

My mistake, I mean to say you cant not simultaneously approve a story while reporting it.
