NO.
Everyone knows FIFA are as corrupt as fu*ck. The huge mistake England made was in naively & wrongly deciding to involve themselves in the bidding process despite knowing all about the bribery & corruption and thinking that they could have been successful without entering into and pandering to FIFA's 'requirements'.
I thought he quit as soon as he signed for Chelsea !
simply reward the top 10 contributors for submissions every month as N4G do.
no he hasn't - his own club did exactly that. Twice.
Roy Keane is Irish therefore has no interest in the England team and is probably taking the piss and having a laugh !
The most disturbing aspect of this sorry mess is that the manager & players didn’t grasp the factual reality that the core team selection, formation & tactical choice blindly adhered to during the group stage failed spectacularly.. how the coaching staff thought that they could suddenly seriously compete in the much tougher knockout phase without changing is beyond belief.
The performances against a routine USA team and a poor Slovenia side were marginally better than...

this might be a blessing in disguise as Rio is clearly lacking match sharpness - his injury plagued season looked to have taken its toll on the evidence of the 2 recent friendlies. Provided Ledley King stays fit he'll be a better option and interestingly Dawson who has had a far better season than Matthew Upson and shouldn't have been left out in the first place will now be available as well.
I agree with them all - excellent comment against the corrupt buffoons that consistently devalue the world cup and football in general.
Rooney will melt in the sun. And so will his family. No amount of money can ever stop the melting.
I agree with Giovanni - Van Gaal is an arrogant horse
only one potential problem with this is that Joe Cole might not be at world cup.... we'll see tomorrow when Capello chooses his final 23!
"not fearing anyone" is totally meaningless, Mr Mascherano. Argentina didn't fear England in 2002 but got beaten and didn't make it out of the group. Argentina didn't fear Germany in 2006 but got beaten...France didn't fear Senegal... etc etc.. you get the picture ?
he will take all 5 strikers...
fantastic story.
Chris Waddle was a bit part player for England and no surprise he missed 'that' penalty. But he's not alone - sadly one of far too many excellent club players that couldn't transfer great talent & effectiveness at league level to the international stage.
July will be better, at least for England...
not yet but I'm sure video will surface soon enough
yes - that's confusing - I noticed that too !
there's no argument I'm afraid.
Barcelona is the best club team in Europe & the world right now.
Spain is the best national side in the world.
Italys Serie A is the most unappealing league to watch. Even in Italy.
The English Premier League is (and has been for several years) the most entertaining & popular WORLDWIDE by FAR (Worldwide viewing figures are staggering) which makes it factually the best league in...
