If only Mkhitaryan didn't hit the bar...

wantedboys3661d ago (Edited 3661d ago )

if only di maria didn't miss the penalty :(

Stringerbell3661d ago

Yeah if that penalty was converted who knows where the game would have gone.

imtiyaz63661d ago

It was a very harsh penalty and Weidenfeller's save was simply poetic justice. As I said before, if Real truly want La Decima, they really need to work on their defence and stop conceding silly goals just like today.

No matter which team you support, you gotta love Borussia Dortmund! What a team!

Hats off to Dortmund played a good match never give up

the problem with madrid that they are too nervous two goals mistake from madrid

madrid need to keep calm if they need to win the semi-final and reach the final

KingPin3661d ago

didnt get to watch this match so cant really say much.

from the highlights though it looked like madrid defence were not focussed at all. making silly mistakes which led to the goals and just poor defending allowing Dortmund plenty of chances. Dortmund couldve put in like 4 or 5 goals tonight alone.

madrid are through but defending like this against the likes of Barca/Atleti/Munich, chances are they wont be this lucky.

Yeah once Ramos & Alonso found themselves with a yellow, they became a bit apprehensive. All of a sudden loads of space opened up and Dortmund capitalized.

Madrid looked pretty hopeless the whole game. The only player really trying to take control of the game was Modric but he was being suffocated in midfield. Ronaldo standing on the sideline the whole game shouting orders at people was quite a sight, he looked like the manager!

We saw the importance of the away goal yesterday - Chelsea got one, Dortmund didnt.

Real were lucky - without Ronaldo this team isnt nearly as good even though they have the likes of Bale, Isco, Benzema. I hope to see Klopp and Reus at ManUtd in the near future!

Xavi Alonso should have seen the second yellow...what a game from B.Dortmund. Very exciting
