Few if any have played the position as he has in that regard and that is where he sets himself apart. He's revolutionized the idea of what a modern keeper can be. If you are going to tell me that Iker and Buffon are similar in that regard its just plain dishonest.

If ever there was a case for a keeper to win it, it was Neuer. Nonetheless congrats to Ronaldo he had an amazing year.
