Guardiola: I hate tiki-taka

Despite being renowned for popularising the style of football, the Bayern boss has revealed his "loathing" of what some claim he spawned with Barcelona in his new autobiography

The story is too old to be commented.

"It's so much rubbish and has no purpose. You have to pass the ball with a clear intention, with the aim of making it into the opposition's goal. It's not about passing for the sake of it."

this is what made tiki-taka boring to watch.
every match barca used to have like 800+ passes of which only 200 were with some sort of intention to break through the opposition. the rest of it was to keep possession.

this is why i say tiki-taka was good football wise (without the ball, the other team cant do anything) but had no entertainment value (nobody wants to watch 600+ short passes going nowhere at all).
