It is the one game that had football fans talking for weeks in the build-up to the match. Last season, Liverpool were successful against the Red Devils, but as most expected, tables were turned this season.

whats wrong with Liverpool? what a disaster this season is turning out to be!

Two words: Luis Suarez

You guys relied on him to much last season, he was your goto man, now he's gone and your struggling.

Balotelli is f**king awful, one of the most overated players in world football, he has the mental age of a 10 year old, failed at Inter, failed at City, failed at Milan and he's going fail at liverpool as well. Take the loss at get rid, he is a championship player at best.

Just gets better and better! Revenge for all the teasing last season. As I predicted, things would be back to normal this season, but not quite. When Utd begin challenging for the title again, normality will be restored. Liverpool fans were deluded into thinking that they'll be regular contenders.

just bad decision making in the transfer market. Balotelli is even worse than Andy Carroll!

Challenging for the title?? Win a few games and you think so?? Not really.. Your still 2-3 players away from City and Chelsea yet.

I agree with you in terms of squad on paper but what you need to remember is Untied don't have champions league this season and it could work well for them to make a push for the league towards the end of the season. Do I think United can win the League well its possible but I do think it will be Chelsea who will come out champions this year.

Tbh As much as it's 3-0. It's kinda flattering.

That game could have easily been 3-3.

Sterling isn't a striker and balotelli missed chances as well.

Utd are playing better then they were, but along way to go.

It says a lot when De Gea was man of the match, he is an outstanding keeper, and is the reason Liverpool didn't score.

Problem for United is Madrid r knocking on the door now, will he stay or will he go ?

saadd203409d ago

depends on if he plays second fiddle to Casillas!

Jonnyquest3213409d ago

Sterling isn't a striker but are Carrick, Young and Valencia defenders? That's the reason Liverpool had those chances, they never really threatened and they did not play good.

ProjectVulcan3410d ago

Considering United's defence has been constantly changed and injured then 3rd is pretty impressive.

It was 3-0 against Liverpool before any of the summer signings even came on the pitch.

Gamer19823409d ago

It snot impressive as Liverpool were fecking awful. Sterling must be the worst as shooting on goal I have ever seen. De Gea did good I won't deny but a couple of those chances he shouldn't have even let the keeper get near.

I said 3rd was impressive at this stage, not the performance against Liverpool.

United can improve with the players they have got, assuming they can get them fit.
