United's back line for most of the game was Young, a left midfielder just back from injury at left back, Smalling, two youth team centre backs with just a dozen senior apps between them and Valencia, a right winger who occasionally in times of dire need plays right back.

Yet Arsenal took until 5 minutes into 8 minutes of injury time to score against THAT defence when nobody can understand why there was more than about 3 minutes extra anyway.

Not to mention the fact Wilshere should have been sent off in the first half for a blatant headbutt to Fellaini right in front of the ref and Di Maria missed badly in a wide open one on one with the keeper which would have made it 3-0.

Arsenal just capitulate.

Utd showed some character to win this. Top 4 is the goal and they've still got Rafael, Jones, Rojo, Evans, Blind and Falcao to come back. They still havent played the same back 4 in consecutive matches for 90 mins - that would damage any team.

Wilshere shouldve been off too.

Typical Arsenal. What a goal by Giroud though.

considering arsenals chances its hard to believe they even lost, never mind only scored one goal (but what a goal that was)

united wasted their chances too, especially di maria and were lucky with the first goal

Wenger needs to go. It's a simple fact he has lost the plot.

Arsenal were on top for 90% of that game, yet although the first goal of utd's was offside. Fellani should be sent off for trying to look like he is from the jackson's in the 70's.

Arsenal are just throwing games away.

Ramsey, cazorla have gone to pot.

First goal was pretty much level; Rooney was wrongly flagged offside later when he was clear through so it evens out anyway. Forget Fellaini, Wilshere should be sent of for assault; who does the little overrated runt think he is throwing his weight around like that?
