No, you can see a opponent walking on the side of the pitch. The miss was horrible but i love how he beat the keep, there are not much players who (can) do that.
lol what? you can't even see the defensive line when the ball was played. When the camera finally pans across you see a defender roughly in line with him. How the f*ck can you say he's offside when we have no way see?!
@lukie - the guy at the side of the pitch is the linesman. You do know what sport this is right guys?
Whoa! Calm down man. I was just asking. Plus only the GK was between him and the goal. So at the point he received the ball, he was behind the defense line. But I was thinking whether he was in an offside position when the ball was kicked towards him. Maybe I was wrong. No need to be such a douche about it. Just because you can be a dick on the internet without consequence, doesn't mean you have to be.
What on earth are you talking about. A player is offside if there not at least 2 players between him and the goal and so long as he is in the opponents half. The point in which the player receives the ball is irrelevant, what is relevant is whether or not the player is offside when the ball is first played. When he receives the ball or attempts to get the ball he's then deemed active and is flagged offside. Here there is clearly 2 players, the GK and defender, but we can't tell whether or not he was ahead of the last defender because the camera was not looking there!
Pretty arrogant of you to suggest such a thing. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you've never seen a football match before.
That an idiot. He totally deserved that for trying to showboat. There was no need to blast it hard, a simple tap and it was going in. Let that be a lesson people.
he will now always be known for that miss
holy sh*T, the big clubs will prabably sign him
Oi !!
Why was he trying to blast it from 2 yards out? Just tap it in. Such a shame cos that was a lovely piece of skill to get round the keeper.
hmm........we have a winner!
