Indeed its there first year in there and a tough group. This will be a learning experience for the players and Mancini and it does mean they can concentrate more on the league if knocked out as Mancini will probably play backup players in Europa.

Madrid buys players but then always makes more revenue and always is in the positive numbers, so do not compare them Manchester City.

I agree with you im a united fan so i know a small team can beat a big team. But what is making me lol about city at the mo is all he fans i speak to at the mo keep telling me city are better than barca and they will walk he league and will grt to the final of he champions league. I keep dont run before you can walk but they wont take it. Yes they are looking a good side at the moment but so were newcastle when they were 12 points clear and so were Chelsea last season at the beginning of the season but look what happend there. I have no dout in my mind city will win the league in the next 3 or 4 seasions but not this year as when it gets to the latter half of the season itgets hard for the top 4 teams and anything can happen.

all they are saying is that as hyped up as man city are, it doesn't look very good for them in terms of getting into the next round. they not saying its impossible, but for all their hype you would think they would be through already. look at Real madrid and barca, they already qualified. if you gonna put man city to that same standard, surely they should be through as well.
stop dwelling in the past on one victory. but i guess thats the highlight of your season. you dont hear of the 8-2 thrashing man united gave arsenal. time to move on.
That isn't the highlight of my season, that just proves how biased you guys are against City. I'm not a fan of any premier league teams, but for now I enjoy watching City play more than any other.
I hope they win a title, not because I'm a fan but because they deserve it if they keep paying so well in the premier league. The hate for city here is so sad.
People dont hate city because they are winning. It is because the have come from being a middle to bottom ps club to top four on millions of £ being spent on players and nothing to do with what the club have done. Yes united have spent alot on players but over 25 years and the team has been built and rebuilt on both youth and brought in players.
City have also only won the fa cup so far yet they think they are the bes team in the world and are as good as barca. Just because they started the season well and beat united with 10 men 6 1 does not make them champions or an amazing team.
We are not half way through the season yet and city have been playing well i will give them that but every team has a bad patch in the season and united arsenal liverpool and Chelsea have all shown why they are a big club by getting through the hard times city are yet to do this and they also still have Chelsea arsenal and liverpool to paly where united have played all of them amd only dropped 4 points. We wil see what type of side city are when they play liverpool this weekend.
