The best thing that happened to us was Netherlands scoring 1st. We opened our game wich allowed our creative players to do what they best against a discompesanted team that doesnt pressure the man with the ball. We should have won by more but good game by Portugal! Thank you Van der Vaart. You did us a favor

the reason i think he fails to score is coz he doesn't play like he usually does. there is much less "selfishness"/tricke ry <if you could call it that> and he is more of a team player. the reason for this is coz he is captain and he is trying to lead by example. if he were to try and take on a whole team himself, the rest of the team will be like "if our captain can do it, why cant we" and all of them will be playing individual games rather than as a unit.
but yeah, ronaldo may not score all the time but at least he creates for others. robben on the other hand........SELFISH TO THE MAX!!!

Nice one, have Portugal in a draw! Ronaldo played great. Portugal are such an up and down team, you never know what you are gonna get from them. Sometimes they are dreadful and other times they are pure class.
