I learned nothing new from this match, but a truth was further cemented:

Barcelona are only as exciting as their opponents allow them to be.

The first half was kind of dull; Madrid were more focused on defending. The second half took off because Madrid came out and tried to force the issue a bit more, opening up spaces for Barcelona.

Barcelona plays possession, and their opponents are forced to play tight defense. It takes two to make a boring game, lol, there's two teams on the pitch. I personally find Barca's passing pretty fun to watch, and I knew that eventually Madrid would get frustrated, as always, and open up a bit, even if it took a goal. Barca had some impressive goals, especially with Xavi's goal and Iniesta's assist.

Now that people are too bitter and biased to look past this, that's something else.

I wasn't saying that to bash them or anything, that's just how it is most of the time. When teams focus on defending most of the time they're forced to pass side and back to try and draw them out. Once Madrid lost that defensive focus, Barca started cruising.

I'm not a fan of either team, I just enjoy the spectacle.

I see, when teams play good defensively against barca it's hard to be entertained for some portion of the game, I think we'll see much better classicos within the league, after all it was a cup, and niether team wants to concede goals.

The 3 that disagreed with you already knew that. So they technically didn't learn that, lol.
