The Brazilian defender has admitted that the Bundesliga champions deservedly progressed but feels they are not necessarily the better team
Dani Alves believes that Barcelona's 7-0 aggregate defeat against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League does not necessarily mean that the Bundesliga champions are the better team.
7-0 in two games.. not better ;)
Something about Brazilian football players that just make them say the stupidest things. Dani Alves got it early I guess.
Bayern caught Barcelona at the perfect time- Messi not really fit, Puyol and Mascherano out.
That's only 3 players but 3 very significant key ones. You take the 3 key players from any side and it is severely weakened.
What is Man City without Aguero, Kompany and Toure. Or Madrid without Ronaldo, Ozil and Alonso. Much weaker sides.
If Barcelona had a fully fit 11 they would give Bayern a better game, although I do think Bayern have turned the tide. Maybe not quite as dramatically as 7-0 over 2 legs would suggest though.
Oh Dani Alves.... of all the idiots, in all the idiot villages, in all the idiot worlds, you stand alone, my friend.
Dani Alves needs to accept the fact that they lost to the better team...regardless of the disadvantages barca had. Bayern played a smarter, and more fierce season, they deserve it!
