Scrappy match, don't think it was a red card. However, if United keep free falling it's tought to see Moyes making it past the summer/start of next season.
i think in any other team, they would have already taken off a manager who is clearly nowhere near the goal for the season. I feel this is more about pride and not admitting they probably chose the wrong person
LoL! United's fall from grace! On a serious note, if they finish in the top6 it'll be a good season in my eyes. Being a City fan, I'm enjoying this fall, but I really hate to see Moyes in this state, he was emotionless when they equalized the game, I hate United but like SAF I have a lot of respect for Moyes and hope things turn around for him.
At the end of the day Arsenal, Chelsea along with Liverpool could win nothing, Utd have the community shield! the big blow would not be finishing fourth, I think they'll spend big in Jan because lets face it Moyes and some of the players are out of their depth here but who'd want to join this sinking ship? very interesting season
who would want to join a sinking ship? ask the liverpool players. lets be honest here, in previous years (last 5, maybe 6 years) they were at the point where united is now and still managed to sign some good players who brought them up to a point now where they can actually get big name players.
the question is can moyes recover within the next 2 seasons?
@Sahil- that's the point genius, they've already won something no matter how insignificant it is, what have Liverpool won?
@Kingpin- True there are bargains to be had and good players out there, but Utd wont be getting any stellar names that's for sure unless they pull a Man City and give humongous contracts. There is value in January though unlike Moyes says, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez all came in January so did Vidic and Evra
Im a huge United fan and it hurts that we are not doing that well. Though opposition fans gloating was to be expected because these teams have been in United's shadow for years.
Its natural for opposition fans to be dancing in delight at United failing. This team is not suited to Moyes. We need creative midfielders and defenders. I will be very surprised if we got anyone in January. I am however expecting a huge summer blowout.
I don't support Utd and I do find your failing season hilarious, I just can't stand other glory hunters like Liverpool fans spouting off because they have won even less than Utd this season, if they don't make 4th place then Suarez leaves.
The comments section is becoming very tribal, imagine the fans who threw things at Walcott, now imagine them in comment form.
Sahil gets 3 likes for denigrating a cup (not the best cup admittedly) but that was my point that seemingly everyone missed, how can 1 cup no matter how lowly you think of it not be better than 0 cups (what Liverpool will most likely end up with)

Haha what a flop by hernandez...
