What a game! C'mon Liverpool!!

Computersaysno3659d ago (Edited 3659d ago )

How did Liverpool manage to get away with the blatant Sakho lunge on Dzeko which was a definite penalty and possibly a red card, the Suarez swan dive which should have been a second yellow and had him sent off and the obvious handball punch clear from Skrtel at the end in the area which was a cast iron penalty?

Amazing game.

My opinion on the incidents:

- stupid tackle by Sakho, but Dzeko jumped him, landed on his right foot and then fell over for some reason. Stupid by Sakho, but just as stupid by Dzeko and the ref seen it.

- Suarez's dive could have been a booking but his first booking was very harsh. It would have been an unjust second given the first.

- No one including the ref, commentators and players saw the handball. We have the benefit of slow motion replays, they don't.

sakho tackle was very stupid indeed. dzeko should have never tried to jump over sakho. he would have got his penalty.

suarez was a semi-dive if i remember correctly. his first tackle however did deserve a yellow. doesn't matter if its 1st minute or the 90th. a bad foul is a bad foul.

skrtel handball was bad, but everything skrtel does is reminisce of carragher who pushes the boundaries of dodgy. However, no one saw the handball, not even the city players.

Another ref is needed in football who watches instant replays and can judge the game accordingly.

With all that said, the final score is the final score, maybe unfair but that's the game we have to put up with.

4 more games left. let's keep the premier league dream alive. :D:D:D

Last time Liverpool played City, City got all the decision's, just look at that offside decisions against Sterling. It all seems to even itself out somehow, but i thought Liverpool was the better team, game changed when Milner came on though, such a good player being wasted on the bench.

All rides on Chelsea now, realistically, for Liverpool.

It's not over yet.

CHELSEA
CITY
LIVERPOOL

Any of them could win it.

hkgamer3658d ago

Chelsea can only win if City messes up. They sure do have a lot of pressure now that they have slipped up against Liverpool. Hopefully city loses another game so it gives breathing room for liverpool vs chelsea.

mcstorm3658d ago

No if it stays as it is now and Chelsea beat Liverpool Chelsea win the league, if Liverpool win they will win the league or if Chelsea and Liverpool draw city will win the league that a if they all win there remaining games.

@Mcstorm

No.. If Chelsea win all their games, they sit on 87 points, Liverpool would sit on 86 and, if City win all their games too, they would sit on 88 points, thus City would win

But Moyes got the job months ago...

TheSaint3658d ago

Finally a true Manc fan, there was one on here not long ago that wanted Liverpool to win the title.

Unbelievable.

MajorLazer3658d ago

The audacity! As a Utd fan, Liverpool winning anything is the real nightmare! I can just imagine the smug look on some of my friends faces x-|
