Well I can't say that I'm too excited. Has no success winning trophies, can play good attacking football which is what the club needs, and would be more responsible in the transfer market.
It's going to be interesting to hear what the owner's objectives are for this man. Clearly it is to reach top 4, and Martinez apparently has the confidence to do that his first season.
Based off the last couple of weeks, I highly doubt that they will appoint Rafa. I am not sure why, but I think they don't want to make decisions based off fans judgement. We will see what Ian Ayre and the owners say in the coming weeks. A lot of Wigan fans say he will do a fantastic job, as he is a 7 days/wk 12hr/day manager.
yes let them bring back rafa. let him waste more money on players that are below average etc
all those saying martinez is poor choice need to grow up and have a good think liverpool cant attract the big names and even their beloved queen dalglish couldnt do anything league wise.
Martinez plays good attractive football and has a good eye for decent talent for the money he spends and has a good work ethic so i think he suits them brilliant they need to build up from the bottom and stop expecting the best anymore because they simply arent even close now.
