Brendan Rodgers is confident he has full control over transfers at Liverpool and believes he has a good relationship with the owners.
The former Swansea manager was thought to be close to sealing the signature of Gylfi Sigurdsson, only for the midfielder to opt for Tottenham despite playing under the stewardship of the Northern Irishman at the Liberty Stadium last season.
And Rodgers insists he is under no pressure from owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) to sign players, adding that he identifies his own transfer targets without input from the club's owners.
