According to reports out of England, U.S. national team star Clint Dempsey could be making his home on Merseyside during the 2012-13 season and beyond.
Dempsey has long maintained he wishes to play for a Champions League club, and has reportedly made it clear he will not sign a new contract with current side Fulham. With his deal set to expire after the upcoming season, several big sides across Europe have been on high alert.
I don't see why he would move to Liverpool. First of all, he wants to play Champion's League football.... good luck with that. Second, he plays pretty much the same position as Gerrard, where while being a forward he plays a bit behind the striker.. or he used to. Well, best of luck to him wherever he moves (except if he plays for liverpool, city, chelsea, or arsenal).
