Diego Maradona believes Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo will never reach the same level as Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Both forwards are clear favourites to win the Ballon d'Or after an impressive season at club level, yet Maradona feels the Portuguese is nowhere near his Argentine rival.
"Cristiano Ronaldo will never be of Messi's level. Lionel doesn't need Cristiano Ronaldo's powerful shot. Messi just dribbles towards the goal with the ball at his feet," Maradona told TVR.
And Neymar is better than Messi, right Maradona?

fair enough he would be biased but to say that he's noway near is ridiculous.. clearly they are on the same or similar lvl just look at the goals they score and the way they play.. if he had said no1 is near the two of them but messi is better i would agree

heres the thing. messi and ronaldo are the worlds best. period. who is better between them is up to personal preference in whose style of football you prefer. one thing is for sure, they both better than every other footballer on the world today and both of them will join that list of pele and maradona.
