BR - Real Madrid will play AC Milan next week in a preseason friendly at Yankee Stadium in New York.

No surprise, then, that Jose Mourinho's men are brushing up on their baseball skills. After all, you never know when Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez might want to play an all-superstar pickup game, right?

Actually, scratch that. A-Rod is out injured, the victim of a broken hand. So in all honesty, this could be something else.

I'm not so sure about that anymore. Anything would look boring if you don't understand it. I never used to watch football; I used to think it was boring as hell before 2006 World Cup. That's what piqued my interest in it with all the drama that was going on. Then later that year I watched Arsenal whip Reading 4-0 and that sealed it for me. From then on I gradually understood it the more I watched it. Now I'm the crazy football fan you see before you.

So I say that given enough time and willingness to understand, all sports are exciting (not so sure about Extreme Ironing though).
