Metro - Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has made signing pass-master Allen his top priority this summer, but has been frustrated in his attempts to negotiate a deal, with the player in Olympic action for Team GB.
However, following Britian's quarter-final defeat to South Korea over the weekend, Allen is now due back at Swansea later this week, for talks over his proposed move to Liverpool.
