Hamstring injury to sideline SJ's Salinas for 2-4 weeks

MLS Soccer: The San Jose Earthquakes will be going to Montreal this weekend one flap down.

Winger Shea Salinas, whose speed on the flanks has been a key factor in the Quakes’ resurgence to an MLS-best 14-5-5 record, suffered a strained hamstring late in San Jose’s 3-0 Reserve League victory against Seattle on Sunday. He’s expected to miss two to four weeks because of the injury, which will keep Salinas stuck on seven assists – second among all Quakes, and tops on a per-minute basis – for the time being.
