Just days before the start of the 2012/13 Premier League season, Liverpool Football Club has announced two new deals with online bookmakers Paddy Power and 188Bet.
The two seperate agreements, both of which will run until the end of the 2013/14 European soccer season, see Paddy Power named as Liverpool's official betting partner for the UK, Ireland and Italy while 188Bet will serve in the same role on an international basis.
According to an official statement released by Liverpool, both bookmakers will 'enjoy an extensive, but distinguished, suite of rights.'
Though financial details of the agreements were not released, according to sources within the online gambling industry, top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool can be expected to command roughly UK£3 million annually from betting partnerships.
