Stoke City is in the process of acquiring American midfielder Maurice Edu from Rangers, MLSSoccer.com reported Friday.
Edu, 26, has been with Rangers since 2008. He has been a fixture in the United States' midfield and played in the 2010 World Cup.
According to Rangers' official website, Edu is "seemingly set to complete a move to Stoke City." The site also reported Tuesday that Stoke was interested in the 26-year-old.
