Lucas to scout for Liverpool during layoff

Lucas Leiva will take on a scouting role at Liverpool while he recovers from a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old midfielder is facing up to three months out after suffering the problem at the start of a Premier League match against Manchester City on August 26.

Agreed, it's a shame many fans are sceptical about him still. Personally he has shown great awareness and a solid vision for the future. Whether or not everyone else will pull their weight remains to be seen. The transfer debacle didn't help.
