Spanish source Punto Pelota are today reporting that Liverpool continue to pursue Barcelona striker David Villa as Brendan Rodgers looks to add some much needed added firepower to his Anfield squad.
It's obviously a rumour they got from their favourite source - their ass.
Ironically, however, Villa actually considered moving to Liverpool while Torres was here. Unfortunately, Liverpool didn't have the money to buy him then. About a year later, they were splashing madly on average British players like Carroll, Downing, Henderson, Adam, etc.
And funnily enough, some of their fans wondered(and are still wondering) why Dalglish and Comolli were sacked.
Caughtoffside... doubt they ever have a decent rumor. Beside why would Villa want to move to Liverpool from barca.
