So right. I love Germany and they have arguably played the best/most entertaining football since 2006, but as long as their defense will be so bad, they will never win anything.
Just look last Euro, 6 goals against in 5 games? Compared to Italy or Spain, that'll never fly.
They don't need to change evrything though, they can still play an offensive game, they just need to make sure the defense won't fall asleep so often.
