The United States could host a 16- nation special Copa America tournament in 2016 that will feature the 10 South American teams and six from CONCACAF, including the United States and Mexico.
South American governing body CONMEBOL revealed the plans Wednesday, and said the tournament will be contested in July 2016, just after Euro 2016.
