"But Chelsea was growing really quickly, so I wanted to be a part of this. I saw we could reach something really, really big in the next few years."

When he joined Chelsea in 2006 they were the dominant force in English football and champions as United were rebuilding their side.

However, it seems the United side was complete the season after he chose Chelsea, and United went on to dominate most of his time at Chelsea...winning 3 titles on the trot and taking the Champions league in the process.

In the end he only won one league title with Chelsea!
