"with his performance against them in CL"

To his own admission he was poor in both legs apart from the goal.

Would love to see him back where he belongs.

Why does he "belong" at utd?? On topic, this ain't gonna happen. Maybe towards the end of his career but not any time soon.

I'm pretty sure even he d think that he belongs at United.

1 Ballon d'or (which he craves at Real)
1 Champions League (which he craves at Real)
3 Premier Leagues
1 Club world cup
1 FA Cup

With us he can step out of Messi's shadow and he could have won so much more if he had stayed.

No one gives a **** about club world cup, the rest agreed but given the fact that if real can somehow make it to the final and win. Plus the copa del rey maybe he can win another ballon d'or. But that most likely wont happen as to that award along with many others becoming utter sham.

"Would love to see him back where he belongs."

Lisbon then?! Maybe staying at Madrid?! Since he moved to the club as he wanted to be close to his mother and Real being his boyhood club.

He belongs where he feels he belongs. United isn't that place now!

Also, people are deluded if Real will sell Ronaldo for €75m when they paid €93m in 2009 money. He's worth realistically, if a club is willing to pay, at least €150m due to his buyout clause being $1 billion but more importantly his ridiculous goal to game record: 186 games with 188 goals at Madrid.

Additionally;

Ronaldo was at United for 6 years, he's only been at Real for 4 so far.

Full United record;
League (3): 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09.
FA Cup (1): 2003–04
League Cup (2): 2005–06, 2008–09
Community Shield (1): 2007
UEFA Champions League (1): 2007–08
FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008

Individual (United);
Ballon d'Or (1): 2008
FIFA World Player of the Year (1): 2008
European Golden Shoe (1): 2007–08
League Golden Boot (1): 2007–08

Real record so far;
La Liga (1): 2011–12
Copa del Rey (1): 2010–11
Supercopa de España (1): 2012

Individual (Madrid);
European Golden Shoe (1): 2010–11
Pichichi (1): 2010–11

9 trophies to 3 - so far.
4 major individual awards to 2 - so far.

Another thing to consider; He was the best player for a few years before Messi became the superstar he is. He's had to work so much harder now to be up their with Messi and he still doesn't get the same recognition as him. But also, he has to redeem his massive price tag at the Bernabéu. His start at Madrid wasn't that great but he's come good since then.
