Deep Into Injury Time's Alessandro Amasanti writes:
"Fernando Torres’ winning goal on Thursday night against Steaua Bucharest will no doubt leave many once again exclaiming that the Spaniard is back and we will soon see the best of him again. These people have been saying this, on and off, for just over two years now. As drops in forms go, Torres’ has been extraordinary."
Needs to return to Spain. He's obviously lost his hunger & interest in the PL, not to mention his pace and first touch.
He had just a couple good seasons in the premier league for Liverpool, and that was that.
They say class is permanent and form is temporary, on that basis Tores was not nearly as good as people had believed him to be, and he was just on good form for a little while in England before his actual (lesser) class has been revealed for the past 3 years.
He is nearly 29, he'll surely leave Chelsea because he just isn't good enough to be the main man of a club looking to win titles.
