You're a grown man for christ sake

The_Devil_Hunter3946d ago

To society he is, but is he to himself, does he see himself as a grown man is another question. But I know where you come from.

KingPin3946d ago

what does being a grown man have to do with this?

what if you were working at your dream job, doing something you were great at, where people loved and respected you and someone came in and told you everyday how poor you are and that you wont be allowed to do what you do every day of your life. would you not be disheartened in any way? would you leave a great "company" coz of one shitty manager? im a real supporter and can say 100% that what mou did you iker was wrong. he was injured but that didnt mean he should permanently lose his spot in the team. there were league matches he could have played for game time.

its like barca getting a manager to bench messi or united benching RVP or tottenham benching Bale, you would also say to yourself WTF is this guy thinking.

krazykombatant3946d ago

Well kingpin if I was working my dream job, and raking in the dough like professional athletes do I wouldn't be bitching and whining and making acting like a child. If I was getting paid millions per year, hell half of what they make in just a couple of weeks I'd be happy as hell.

I'm pretty sure if you talked shit about your boss you would get the boot more often than not.

Casillas, is a grown man, he is paid to play fooball, when he couldn't he was replaced by a keeper who was playing great, Casillas was lacking all season, by his standards.

LOL you being 100% Real supporter but having comments which muddy that statement.

Mou was as big an idiot as pepe, casillas and all the other idiots who put the problem in the locker room and put it all over the the media.

You can't compare Messi with the rest of them as he has yet to really have a really bad season where he doesn't contribute. Bale and RVP have had only 1 good season. Bale obviously is young but still.

And what if i told that they had the best coach in years and blew it because of wrong values that they folow in Real for year. When a player belives that he is above the coach and don´t respect it´s decisicions, dont try to improve it´s perfomance and belives that the spot is for him for granted he should be punished.this beaviour is tolerated in Real for decades and reflects in curriclum, the long nights and partys, the constant photo shots prior to practice etc...they earn millions every year and win nothing, the fan deserves more respect.
And by the way Mou was treated like crap by the press and pretty much everyone else because is Portugese and not spanish, and they just couldn´t stand tha someone from such a small country could be actually better then them.I fell sorry for Madrid Fans they could won many titles but problably will not win anything for a long time.
As a Porto fan myself i have nothing but love for Mou,if the man wins everything with a club like Porto(monetarylly speaking)imagine what he can make with the players he wants and obviasly a little luck...

Completely agree with KingPin!

Casillas' livelihood was nearly destroyed. What would of happened if he returned and was completely useless?! One of the best keepers in the history of football and the only one looking likely to win individual awards too. He's 32, for a GK that's young! Great GK usually crap-out around 40, I'd say he's got another 5 years left in him at least. Mourinho could of destroyed that!

Iker is the most respected player amongst his peers in Madrid and the national side because he's talented, respectful and selfless. Barca players respect him as their own and he bridges the respect between both clubs on a national level.

Fans support Iker 100%.
People of Madrid support Iker 100%.
Club officials support Iker 100%.
People of Spain support Iker 100%.

Iker is loved, Mourinho wasn't! Mou hated that!

League, Cup and Europe stats;
Name - Games - Goals Against - Clean Sheets
Casillas - 27 - 25 - 10
Diego López - 26 - 34 - 4
Adan - 7 - 5 - 2

Casillas played 1 more game, conceded 9 less goals and got 6 more clean sheets than Diego López!

"they had the best coach in years"

A good coach is only good if he manages well. Mourinho had lost the plot towards the end of the season, players and fans a like could see that!

"blew it because of wrong values"

What values are wrong at Madrid?!

"When a player belives that he is above the coach and don´t respect it´s decisicions, dont try to improve it´s perfomance and belives that the spot is for him for granted he should be punished."

You are a fool and honestly don't know what you are talking about! Nobody at Madrid was happy with the treatment Casillas got from Mourinho. I put my money on it the club president Perez didn't like it either. Everyone at Madrid loved Casillas, Mourinho hated that. Iker is known as a saint all over Spain, Mourinho is known as the caretaker!

League, Cup and Europe stats;
Name - Games - Goals Against - Clean Sheets
Casillas - 27 - 25 - 10
Diego López - 26 - 34 - 4
Adan - 7 - 5 - 2

Record speaks for itself, only Ronaldo had better stats than Casillas at Madrid in the 1st half of the season! Maybe something to do with Mourinho helping Ronaldo win Ballon d'Or?! Get your facts right!

"they earn millions every year and win nothing, the fan deserves more respect."

Again you don't know anything about the club. Iker is the most loved player at Madrid! He'll be their much longer than Ronaldo or anyone else! They've also won 3 titles in the last 3 seasons... your point on winning nothing is nullified!

"And by the way Mou was treated like crap by the press and pretty much everyone else because is Portugese and not spanish, and they just couldn´t stand tha someone from such a small country could be actually better then them."

No, Spanish people hated Mou not because of his nationality but because of his attitude of the game. He played anti-football during his 1st season at the club. He was sent to the stands several times because he abused referees and he assaulted others too in the technical area!

The media crapped on him because of those reasons + the way he spoke about Barca over the years and then finally the way he managed Madrid this last season gone!

"I fell sorry for Madrid Fans they could won many titles but problably will not win anything for a long time."

Judging by your knowledge, I doubt anything you say will come to light! Carlo as manager and positive signing on top of a world class squad will help Madrid massively. No negativity like Mourinho caused!

"As a Porto fan myself"

Well that sums up why you know nothing. You can only see positives from one of the most negative managers this game has ever seen. You'd expect someone like Mou, a winner to be more humble... don't think he knows what that means!

What he did at Porto was great but at Chelsea he didn't shine as brightly! At Inter he was handed the league as the big players were dished punishments for match fixing, he had it way too easy! In Spain he faced his 1st real battle and was destroyed multiple times.

One thing Mou must learn to become the greatest, humility!

Mou is no SAF or del Bosque!

Sir Alex Ferguson said the most important role as a manager these days was to be a psychologist and know your players.

He only screamed at those he knew would take it on the chin and improve, and put his arm round those that the hairdryer wouldn't help.

RGB3946d ago

Mourinho obviously can't do that, one dimensional. When he wasn't winning he attacked the referees, press and even other coaches.

As a fan of a club you ignore that in the good times but when you see the way he treated some Madrid players in this season gone, it was time to go.

I was actually pissed during Madrid's record season of points in 2011/12. The way Madrid started that season was so negative and Mourinho's tactics were to blame.

Glad Casillas is having a great Confederations Cup and really happy Madrid have signed Carlo and Isco.
