Its obvious he went there because they are the best side in Europe and that Guardiola is the boss now, but Guardiola must intend on shaking up the team if Thiago becomes a first pick.
With Martinez in there, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Shaqiri trying to break through, Gotze already joined up....it'll be a fight to slot into the central midfield pairing or ACM position.
I actually think Gotze is the better ACM style player and Martinez at the moment the more accomplished central midfielder so......
I am honestly left scratching my head as to why he went to Bayern when his goal is to get more playing time. Bayern is a team jam packed with talent from all sides and I question whether he will get enough play time again. He would have gotten far more play time at United
Yeah it is strange that he went to Bayern. I really would have thought he would stay at Barca considering Xavi and Iniesta are getting older. A lot more opportunity in midfield at Barca than Bayern in my opinion.
