Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is arguably the best footballer in the world… Sure there are those who would argue in defense of Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo or Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery, but there remains a fundamental difference between Messi and the other two – humility… And it is exactly this trait, in spite of which even though Messi didn’t win the Ballon d’Or this year still makes him No. 1 in our hearts.
