I know Germany played a weak back line here but I wonder how the WC final would have turned out if Di Maria, Messi and Aguero were all fully fit. All of them had injury problems just before or during the WC. You could throw Reus into the mix too, would have made one hell of a final.
In four years time Argentina should still have a strong WC squad, the only one they will really miss will be Mascherano. At 34 he probably won't have the legs to put in the performance like he did in the last WC.
Not having Di Maria in that final was a major loss, forget about higuain and aguero, Di Maria's speed and his accurate passing was what Argentina needed. :/
