Arsene Wenger defended Danny Welbeck after the €21 million signing from Manchester United missed several opportunities against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday evening.
The England international had a number of chances to score for the Gunners but spurned them all, with Dortmund eventually running out comfortable 2-0 winners.
