Nigel Pearson is being urged to publicly apologise to a Leicester fan after appearing to tell the supporter to “f**k off and die” during Tuesday’s defeat against Liverpool.
Pearson had already come under pressure for griping about Leicester fans’ general unrest, telling reporters that they “shouldn’t bother coming” if they are going to criticise his team, who are currently knee-deep in a nine-game winless quagmire.
