The final of the 36th Federation Cup between Dempo SC and Bengaluru FC saw Rowilson Rodrigues being given marching orders following his two-footed lunge on Thoi Singh in the second half.
Having reviewed the footage, the I-League champions have decided to bring the matter to the notice of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
"We (Bengaluru FC) will be sending a DVD to the AIFF. These kinds of challenges can't go unpunished. It's a career threatening challenge, one of the worst I've seen," the coach of the Blues, Ashley Westwood told Goal.
