PSV full-back Jetro Willems received the fastest red card in Eredivisie history despite not making any contact with his opponent.
This is why we need goal line technology throughout UEFA. This game was ruined on a part of horrible play acting.
To be fair, the referee can only go by what he sees in that instant, the challenge was reckless and with the player rolling around on the floor, its not surprising he thought he caught him. Not a great decision but can see why he made it.
Can see why he made it but surely the player rolling around on the floor should face a large ban or you will get loads of copycat theatrics.
Dont disagree with that nirwanda, the referee has a hard enough job as it is, without players making it harder, I would fine and ban the guy rolling around and rescind the players red card. But that would make far too much sense, in todays football world.
I agree with that but this is a clear example where if they could utilized a reply the result would have been different. Hopefully Willems can have his suspension reversed.
WORSE PLAYACTING EVER, SHOULD HAVE SENT OF THE DIVER INSTEAD CHEATING BSTAD
