Bharat FC managed to pick up their first win of the season with Kris Bright being the 'bright-spark' for the Lions. While it was questionable defending from Derrick Pereira's men which allowed the goals to be conceded, the real problem for Salgaocar lies up front. With Daryl Duffy not being 100%, he was only on the bench and Bikash Jairu was nowhere near capable enough to lead the line. Jairu compunded issues by missing a sitter in the opening exchanges, which could've turned the complexion of the tie. Meanwhile for the Kalyani-owned side, the win will do their confidence a world of good and can kickstart their campaign.
