Wenger: Arsenal can't catch Chelsea

Despite sitting just four points behind leaders Chelsea, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels his side have no chance of catching up with Jose Mourinho's men.

The Gunners made hard work of a 2-1 win at Newcastle with Olivier Giroud scoring two first-half goals before Moussa Sissoko's goal for the home side, as the visitors secured a vital win which keeps them in touch of the top two.

But Wenger admits Chelsea, who also have two games in hand on Arsenal, have too much of an advantage to be overhauled by either the north London outfit or second-placed Manchester City.

The story is too old to be commented.
