Inter could be forced to cope without Mateo Kovacic for some time after the midfielder picked up a knee injury while away on international duty with Croatia.
Kovacic was expected to play a big part for Group H leaders Croatia against third-placed Norway in Euro 2016 qualifying in Zagreb on Saturday, but the Inter man will now miss the qualifier.
Croatia chief national team medic Boris Nemec revealed a cruciate knee ligament injury has ruled Kovacic out of action.
