Tim Sherwood hailed Christian Benteke after the striker netted a hat-trick in Aston Villa's 3-3 draw against QPR and believes the striker will be crucial in his side's battle against relegation.
The Belgium international netted a stunning free-kick seven minutes from time to level the scores and ensure that Villa did not drop into the relegation zone, instead moving above Hull City into 16th.
Benteke had earlier scored twice to cancel out Matt Phillips' early opener, only for goals from Clint Hill and Charlie Austin to restore QPR's lead.
