Diego Forlan is set to return to Uruguay, having signed for Penarol, the club he started his youth career with.
Forlan, whose father Pablo also played for Penarol, spent one season in the club's youth system as an 11-year-old and went on to start his professional career with Independiente in Argentina, before later establishing himself in Europe.
